I didn't know Hilary Haag was still voice acting! That's good to here; I haven't really seen her name in anything recent. I want to check this out because I love both Brittney and Hilary (and the story sounds interesting).

Trust me, interesting is the absolute opposite of what the story is.

Also, it's weird that this is getting dubbed when you consider the fact that the only thing this show had going for it was the Japanese voice cast.

I seriously doubt this will topple Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan as the most improbable title to receive a dub by Sentai...

Personally, I did enjoy Leviathan. I too think I'm probably in minority in that...

I would not say it is boring, it is cute (monster) girls (mostly) saving the world. This shows is dubbed because (unlike most anime) it has wide marketing potential since you will not find anything objectionable in the story nor the animation.

she's been in quite a lot of sentai dubs, I mean she had the leading roles in Dream eater Merry and Inu X boku (though granted those were awhile ago)

My excitement for this show dropped when I saw Chris Ayres' name on it. Sigh... Neutral Well, here's hoping the English version of Leviathan will at least sound decent.

More recently, she has also been in Bodacious Space Pirates and Samurai Girls. Although, it does seem like she hasn't been as active as one might expect given her prior ADV experience and Sentai's reliance on a fairly small talent pool.

I would that the most common VA that frequents Sentai and Funi that I hear is either Brittney or Monica. However, I will always enjoy Brittney's performance in Kanon.

Well it was released sub only first, then apparently sold enough to justify a dub. I'm with you though, I actually enjoyed the show both times I watched it, and couldn't care less what the haters have to say!

Index and Railgun are shows she's in, but Index herself was played by Monica Rial.

I know, Monica was also mentioned in the comment so that's what the joke was centered around, as both actresses were mentioned
