That should be Mari Okada, not Akada.

Really happy to finally see this licensed. Felt like a perfect fit for Nozomi after how well they treated Aria, but then went on for years without it being licensed. I was expecting it would pop up as Lucky Penny license at this point if at all, so rather pleasantly surprised.

Brings back some memories looking at the seiyuu cast. I think that was the first time I ever heard HanaKana, and Yoko Hikasa as well.

Awesome news. I remember this show well, and it deserves the box set treatment Nozomi strives for. Can't wait for the release.

This was a cute little show. I wanted to watch it again recently, but I guess Crunchyroll's license expired. Right Stuf gets my money again!

Really random....I remember watching this for Tomoko Kaneda, Kana Hanazawa ( I loved her in Zegapain prior to this and knew she had a huge future), then found out it had Shizuka Itou, Mamiko Noto, Yukari Tamura, and a few other really awesome talents in it. The show itself is one of my favorite slice of lifes due to a combination of the soothing music, voice talent, characters, and overall themes. I have no experience with Nozomi Entertainment but I'm really glad to see this picked up finally.

Kaze Sagashi is the song that really got me into Natsumi Kiyouri, especially a live performance I saw a youtube

Finally, Kerokichi and friends get licensed!

This was a fun, lighthearted show that had one of the best finales I've ever seen (very low key, but wrapped everything up quite nicely). Thank you, Nozomi!

I wish this company would license/release something more recent. That is, an anime series that aired in Japan within the last 2.5 years.

Why? There's really good license coverage of anime in more recent years. I'm happier to see great series that slipped through the cracks many years ago (this one having first aired in tough times for the North American market) finally getting picked up.

I am hoping, however, that Nozomi might go for Tamayura (started in 2010, but of which there are some more recent iterations including upcoming movies), since it's from the same studio of Aria and Sketchbook and of the same iyashikei mold. I assume it's from the same licensor as Sketchbook (Shochiku) as well.

Oh good, my second favorite anime about an art club got licensed.

Still waiting for my favorite, GA, to get licensed. It's not that Sketchbook was bad, it's too structured.

It's nice. Also, it's 2015 so, yeah, better be dirt cheap.

Well it could well be someone is interested but is waiting for the final set of movies to come out later this year so they can snap up the licenses for all the series in one go.

At least, it's the Nozomi label, so it's likely to be more expensive than their Lucky Penny releases, and with nicer packaging and extras. Still likely to retail around the same price as a standard sub-only Sentai DVD, though, so it's a very good value for the money in my opinion.

My feelings as well. I had forgotten about this show to be honest. It's really rare anymore for a series that aired that long ago (and it's not old by any stretch really) to get licensed now. A definite case of better late than never. Funny thing is I just got Aria the Natural during Right Stuf's winter sale to finish the collection.

@EmperorBrandon: While I admit I watch more shows streaming via legal or illegal means than buying a series on DVD/BD, I think it'd more interesting for a smaller company to license a not-so well-known show that's more recent.
