The first image I ever saw of Kenshin, was the cover of the Manga, the one you used here, and I generally thought Kenshin was female.

I know it's pretty much impossible, but I'd like if Mayo Suzukaze reprised her role as Kenshin (or at least made some cameo), since she was a Takarazuka actress.

True story- one of my little brother's annoying friends was over and they decided to bug me while I was playing sum game... his friend sees a Kenshin poster on my wall and goes "that redhead chick is hot" to my brother. I informed him it was actually a guy, he left the room with the reddest face I've ever seen Anime hyper

Well, Kenshin was based off of a guy that could be mistaken for a woman, so this makes sense. However, I would find it distracting if the characters are supposed to be one sex but are played by another. Peter Pan and Shakespeare plays come to mind.

I want to see it! I don't think I'll ever be able to, but I really want to see it.

I'm interested to see what kind of woman could pull off playing a role like Sanosuke... Kenshin himself is pretty damn girly though.

I still want an anime adaptation of the Jinchuu arc one day.
