Solid mixture of 2D animation and cgi; wonder if that will transfer to main production. I'm actually kinda excited for this, after Bahamut: Genesis I've had a little more faith in adaptations of smartphone games. I also find Takeshi Mori to be a very underrated director, he's done a lot stuff that I like; so here's hoping this turns out good.

So I was reminded of the MC from Maoyuu Maou Yuusha. Will I watch this? I'm iffy right now, but knowing me, I will.

It just so happens the artist for light novel of Maoyuu, Toi8, is also the main artist for the main characters in Chain Chronicles.

Yeah, I've enjoyed a bunch of Takeshi Mori's stuff like Vandread which was one of my favs. He also did quite a good job with Towanoquon which he had to take over.
