Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Gets 'New Special Footage' on TV in August

The official Twitter account for the Gundam Build Fighters Try anime series announced on Thursday that the series is getting "new special footage" that will air on TV in August. The account did not specify if the new footage would be an anime.
Sunrise originally made the announcement at a booth at the Shizuoka Hobby Show on Thursday. The booth also lists the title "Extra Battle Go Fight!!." The show's official website also features an image with the announcement (pictured at right).
The first Gundam Build Fighters television anime series aired from October 2013 to March 2014. Gundam Build Fighters Try aired from October 2014 to April 2015. Gundam.info streamed both series with English subtitles as they aired in Japan. Sunrise plans to release both series on home video in the West.
The Twitter account for both series had announced in April 2015 that the franchise would get several OVA projects, but it has not revealed more information since that announcement.
