A Certain Scientific Railgun T (TV 3)

In episode 1, some landmarks seen in the episode are from Tachikawa, Tokyo, the city that Academy City is based on. For example, the overpass that Mikoto walk at the beginning of the episode is the Akebono Pedestrian Overpass, and the snake bench seen in this episode is The Conversation, an artwork by the French-American sculptor Niki de Saint Phalle.

In episode 12, Misaki has a countermeasure for Gensei Kihara called the Hag's Hug. This is a reference to the Old Hag or Night Hag, a creature from English folklore which would sit on a person's chest while they were sleeping, causing shortness of breath and paralysis.

In episode 14, the music played during the folk dance sequence is Skater's Waltz, composed by French composer Émile Waldteufel.

In episode 18, some dream sequences by Mikoto from the manga have been replaced with another one in the anime. Her second dream with Ayame Fusou, a character from Shinyaku in the novels, gets removed at the request of Railgun manga artist Motoi Fuyukawa (though she still gets referenced by Mikoto at the end of the episode), and replaced by a dream with Rakko Yumiya, written by Railgun Manga editor Kentarou Ogino. The third dream at A Certain High School gets replaced by a dream with Megumi Kirifu, written by Railgun T Series Composition Shogo Yasukawa.

In episode 22, Ryouko picks up a bag of Miahilin, a high-quality drug used as a suppressant for cyborg after-effects. According to Kentarou Ogino, the editor for the Railgun manga, Miahilin is derived from Miach, the name of the son of Dian Cecht, the god of medicine in Irish mythology. He is the one who replaced Nuada's silver arm with one of flesh and blood.
