Trivia:

Wasn't officially released in USA, until 31 years after it's release in Japan.

The only Lupin III related movie where Lupin wears a white jacket instead of red or green.

Fujiko incorrectly pronouced Lupin as "Lunpen" in one scene. Lunpen means beggar or vagabond, vagabond is a more suitable word to describe Lupin's free spirited behaviour.

Fujiko's razor edge cards were derived from the 1969 Pilot Film where she like her live action counterpart kept them tuck beneath her underwear.

The first Lupin III title to be released by Discotek Media.

Zenigata's subordinate officers Touyama & Ohka are descendents of Kinshirou Touyama & Ohka Echizen, the name of two ficitional judges of the Edo period.

The French that Zenigata's superior reads in one scene is fake French, and the only French names he uses is "Paris" & "Arsene Lupin".

When Lupin mentioned Sakuradamon, he was refering to a Tokyo Metropolitan police station near the Sakuradamon Gate. This is the same police station to be featured in episode 24 of "Lupin III: Part 2" titled "The Phantom Thief Rat Boy Appears!".
