Sapporo Snow Festival : la première sculpture Gundam fait son entrée

Le 15 décembre, le Sapporo Snow Festival a annoncé la programmation des immenses statues de neige qui seront érigées lors de son édition 2024. Depuis, l'annonce de plusieurs statues, de taille plus modeste, ont été dévoilées, et le 15 janvier, le compte X officiel de l'anime Gundam Seed a annoncé sa participation aux festivités :

In a franchise first, Gundam Seed will display a bust of the Rising Freedom Gundam at the Winter Festival. While it's not stated if this is in conjunction with the release of the new film, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed FREEDOM, considering the film's release on January 26, it seems plausible. The Gundam Seed anime's official website also noted there will be a “special wrap booth” at the festival as well. Although there is no mention if this booth is going to be a pop-up store at the Sapporo Snow Festival, the fine print states the booth will be open as a store and for displays.
C'est une première pour la licence : Gundam Seed proposera un buste du Rising Freedom Gundam (même si sans lien avec la sortie prochaine, le 26 janvier prochain, du film Mobile Suit Gundam Seed FREEDOM. Le site officiel de l'anime a également présiéqu'il y aura un « stand spécial » (mini boutique) présent au festival, avec du merch et des produits exposés.
La statue sera érigée au HBC German Pavillon le temps du festival, du 4 au 11 février prochain. Le stand de son côté sera ouvert entre 11 h 00 et 20 h 00 chacun de ces jours – avec un nombre limité de personnes. *
