New Gundam Educational Kit Teaches Robotics, Programming

Technology from science fiction often emerges in the real world sooner or later. Unfortunately, we will probably never see the completion of the Japanese government's previously teased Gundam projects. Still, fans will soon be able to learn practical skills inspired by the franchise and its mobile suits.
Bandai has unveiled the Zeonic Technics Robotics and Programming Kit, which is inspired by the mobile suit-building company Zeonic from Mobile Suit Gundam. The images released with the educational kit's announcement show the MS-06 Zaku II and MS-06V Zaku Tank Cannon Type mobile suits.
Bandai brand BN・Bot is developing the kit in cooperation with various companies that specialize in developing robotics, curricula, and teaching materials. BN・Bot's first project was the Guncierge Haro communication robot with artificial intelligence, which debuted at the "Ceatec Japan 2017" event last October. The robot recently went on sale, but due to its popularity, the first wave of pre-orders was cut off on September 6, and a second order period is slated to open soon.
Similar to Guncierge Haro, Bandai will display the Zeonic Technics Robotics and Programming Kit at the "Creatic Japan 2018" event, which will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba from October 16-19.
