Karakuri Circus Voice Actress Tries Out the Trapeze

Karakuri Circus voice actress Chihiro Ueda is working her way to the highest point in the big top. Ueda starred in a video titled "Chihiro Ueda's Road to Be Ring Master" where she attempts master the trapeze, not unlike Shirogane in the anime series. It's a hard road though, and Ueda has zero experience with acrobatics of this sort.
Ueda reacts like most of us would: by screaming her head off.
Ueda visited Pop Circus, a traveling circus show established in Japan in 1996. The show stars an international cast of performers and, with the exception of its dog show, does not utilize animals. The trapeze artists The Flying Aces hail from Australia.
The Karakuri Circus anime series is an adaptation of Kazuhiro Fujita's manga of the same name. Studio VOLN, the same animation studio that adapted Fujita's Ushio & Tora manga, are animating the series. The series is streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime.
