Man Arrested for Uploading Kita e/Diamond Daydreams via Share

The Ishikawa Prefectural Police's cyber crime task force and Kanazawa City's Nishi Station arrested a 42-year-old Kanazawa Office worker on Tuesday on suspicion of uploading anime without authorization. The suspect allegedly uploaded the first episode of the Kita e - Diamond Dust Drops (Diamond Daydreams) via the Share file-sharing software on his home computer on April 9. According to the authorities, the suspect admitted to the charges.

Update: According to ACCS, Share was installed on the computer in the home of the suspect's parents, and he allegedly remotely operated his parents' computer to upload the anime.
