High School DxD / High School DxD New

Dim-witted and lecherous second-year high school student Issei Hyōdō (Yūki Kaji) is brutally attacked and killed on his first date. The next morning Issei wakes up thinking the entire ordeal is a dream but is shocked when he discovers Rias Gremory (Yōko Hikasa), a buxom third-year student at Kuoh Academy, naked in his room. Rias reveals herself as a Devil who has reincarnated Issei as a Devil to serve as her underling.

High School DxD was originally a light-novel series written by Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero. The series was published in Fujimi Shobo's Dragon Magazine from September 2008 and has been collected into 19 volumes under the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation by Hiroji Mishima began in 2010 and has been since collected into 6 volumes and published in the west by Yen Press and two more spin-off manga have since followed.

This adaptation is directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa (UFO Princess Valkyrie, Strawberry Eggs) from a script by Takao Yoshioka (Familiar of Zero, Elfen Lied). Junji Gotō (School Days) converts Miyama-Zero's original character designs to the screen under art direction from Shigemi Ikeda (InuYasha, Book of Bantorra). The series was produced by TNK and originally aired in Japan in January 2012 for 12 episodes. The first series was followed by High School DxD New in 2013 and will receive a third season titled High School DxD BorN in April 2015.

Madman Entertainment licensed the first season of High School DxD in August 2012 and released the collection on DVD and Blu-ray in November 2013 with High School DxD New following in January 2015.

    Psycho-Pass Extended Edition

It's the near future where it's possible to instantaneously measure and quantify a persons state of mind, personality and probability of committing crimes through a device installed on each citizen's body called a Psycho-Pass. When a person's "Crime Coefficient" index is too high the enforcement officers of the Public Safety Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division are called in to pursue and apprehend the person in question, with lethal force if necessary.

The series follows new bureau inspector Akane Tsunemori who is partnered with "enforcer" Shinya Kōgami, an inspector who is labelled as a latent criminal as his crime coefficient has become too high and without chance of recovery. As they start to conduct investigations they soon realise that there is a mastermind behind multiple crimes who isn't being detected by the Psycho-Pass.

Fuji TV originally broadcast Psycho-Pass as part of Noitamina in October 2013 and the series was produced by Production I.G The cast includes Seki (Card Captor Sakura's Touya, Fate/Zero's Gilgamesh) as Shinya Kōgami and Kana Hanazawa (Kobato.'s Kobato., Nisemonogatari's Nadeko) as Akane Tsunemori.

The staff includes chief director Katsuyuki Motohiro (Space Travelers, live-action Night Head, live-action Antique Bakery, Bayside Shakedown), director Naoyoshi Shiotani (Blood+, Tokyo Marble Chocolate), scriptwriter and series script editor Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero) with original character designs by manga creator Akira Amano (Reborn!).

Psycho-Pass was followed by a film adaptation, second series and the "new edit version" which became Psycho-Pass Extended Edition. The extended edition takes the original 22 episodes and compresses the series down into 11 one-hour episodes.

Madman Entertainment started streaming Psycho-Pass in July 2013 and has since streamed Psycho-Pass 2 on AnimeLab.com.
