One-Punch Man Ranks #2 on U.S. Monthly Bookscan March List
posted on by Kyle Hallmark
The fifth volume of ONE and Yūsuke Murata's One-Punch Man manga ranked #2 on the Nielsen BookScan's Top 20 list for March. The first volume ranked #14. The first, second, and fourth volumes previously ranked on February's list.
Five volumes of Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul manga also ranked in the top 20: the fifth volume ranked #8, the first volume ranked #9, the second volume ranked #16, the fourth volume ranked #19, and the third volume ranked #20. All volumes except for the third previously ranked on February's list, and the fifth topped February's list.
Additionally, the eighth volume of Shin Yoshida, Kazuki Takahashi, and Naohito Miyoshi's Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal manga ranked #10, and Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring manga ranked #18. The latter previously ranked on February's list and topped January's list.
February's list had also featured the eighth volume of OKAYADO's Monster Musume manga at #4, and Takashi Yano and Kishimoto's Naruto: Shikamaru's Story novel at #11.
The BookScan rankings represent sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases — but not sales at comic book stores, Walmart.com, and some other venues.
