Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced on Friday that it has licensed Kyou Shirodaira and Ren Saizaki Zetsuen no Tempest (Blast of Tempest) manga. The company will release the manga's first volume on November 22.

The manga's story centers around Yoshino Takigawa, an ordinary high school student with a mysterious friend named Mahiro Fuwa. Mahiro made a deal with a witch named Hakaze to hunt down the killers of his parents and sister. Now Mahiro is missing, and Hakaze confronts Yoshino. Yoshino finds himself involved in a crisis that may doom the entire world.

The manga debuted in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan in 2009, and it ended in 2013. Square Enix published 10 compiled book volumes for the manga. The fantasy mystery manga inspired a television anime series in 2012.

Shirodaira's Kyokō Suiri novel inspired a manga adaptation by Chasiba Katase, which launched in Kodansha's Shōnen Magazine R in April 2015, and ended on April 20. Katase launched a sequel manga on June 20. Shirodaira and Eita Mizuno also collaborated on the Tengai-san wa Angai Futsū (She is more ordinary than I expected) manga, which launched in Monthly Shonen Gangan in August 2015, and ended on April 12.

Shirodaira and Mizuno previously published the mystery manga Spiral (Spiral - Suiri no Kizuna) which ended 2005, and the Spiral: Alive prequel manga, which ended in 2008. The series inspired an anime adaptation in 2002.
