Future Card Buddyfight Ace Anime Gets English Dub

The official Facebook page of Bushiroad's Future Card Buddyfight franchise revealed on June 4 that the Future Card Buddyfight Ace (Future Card Shin Buddyfight) anime will get English-dubbed episodes that will debut on the franchise's official YouTube channel. The announcement did not reveal when the dubbed episodes will debut. The channel already began streaming the anime with English subtitles beginning with its first episode on June 2.
The cast includes:
Tetsu Inada as Gargantua Dragon
Shūta Morishima as Masato Rikuō
Daiki Kobayashi as Subaru Hoshiyomi
Rimi Nishimoto (Poppin' Party) as Haru Mikado, Aimi (Poppin' Party) as Amaterasu
Poppin' Party is performing the opening theme song "SAA Ikō!" Mano, Morishima, and Kobayashi are performing the ending theme song "Buddy☆Funny Days" as their characters.
The anime's story takes place 23 years after the events of Future Card Buddyfight X and centers on Yuga Mikado, son of Gao Mikado. Because Yuga is talented at games, he is known as the "Ace of Gaming." However, Buddyfight is Yuga's first card game. Yuga's Buddy is Gargantua Dragon, who is also known as Garga.
Mitsuhisa Tamura also launched the Future Card Shin Buddyfight manga in the June issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics magazine on May 15.
The anime premiered on TV Aichi, TV Tokyo, BS Japan, and other networks on June 2.
The most recent series in the franchise, Future Card Buddyfight X: All-Star Fight, premiered on April 7 and is streaming on the franchise's official YouTube channel with both a Japanese and English version. The anime is based on an "All-Star Fight" booster pack for the Future Card Buddyfight card game that also shipped on April 7. The anime has eight episodes. The franchise's YouTube channel premiered the English dub on May 5.
The previous television anime in the franchise, Future Card Buddyfight X (pronounced "Battsu"), premiered in April 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. The series also streamed on the official Future Card Buddyfight YouTube channel in both English-subtitled and English-dubbed versions.
The first series based on Bushiroad's card game premiered in January 2014, and episodes streamed with an English dub on the official Future Card Buddyfight YouTube channel shortly after airing in Japan. Crunchyroll also began streaming dubbed episodes that April. Both platforms are still streaming all 64 episodes of the first series, as well as the first 25 episodes of the second series, with an English dub. However, from the second series' episode 26 onward the stream switched to Japanese audio with English subtitles.
Future Card Buddyfight Triple D, the third television anime series, premiered in April 2016. The official Future Card Buddyfight YouTube channel and Crunchyroll streamed English-subtitled episodes as they aired in Japan.
