1st 10 Minutes of New Shin Evangelion Film Streams Online with French Subtitles

The LINE LIVE service archived a livestream on Saturday of the French premiere of "Shin Evangelion Gekijōban AVANT 1 (Beginning 10 Minutes 40 Seconds 00 Frame) 0706 Version," the first 10 minutes and 40 seconds of Studio Khara's new Evangelion film, Shin Evangelion Gekijō-ban :||. The video was filmed offscreen and contains French subtitles.

The Japan Expo event in Paris screened the video at a "Yoko Takahashi x Evangelion Stage" presentation on Saturday. The video also screened at Anime Expo in Los Angeles on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. PDT, after a screening of Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, and also screened in Shanghai on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. GMT +8 during an Evangelion event in Jing'an District. Additionally, the video screened in six locations in Japan on Saturday at 8:15 pm. JST.
The video is the introduction scene to the film before the title card.
Studio Khara had stated in March that dialogue recording had begun for Shin Evangelion Gekijō-ban :||. The film will open in Japan in 2020.
The first three films in the tetralogy, Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance, and Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, debuted in 2007, 2009, and 2012 respectively.
Netflix began streaming the original Neon Genesis Evangelion television anime series as well as the Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth and Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion films on June 21.
