Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it will stream the High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World and Ascendance of a Bookworm television anime this fall as they air in Japan. Both series will be available worldwide except in Asia, and the first episodes of both series will premiere at Crunchyroll Expo this year.

Crunchyroll began streaming trailers with English subtitles for both anime:

High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World

Ascendance of a Bookworm

The adaptation of Riku Misora and Sacraneco's High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World (Chōjin-Kokoseitachi wa Isekai demo Yoyu de Ikinuku Yōdesu!) light novel series will premiere in Japan in October.

Yen Press licensed the novels' manga adaptation, and it describes the story:

In Japan, there are seven superhuman highschoolers who are world-class geniuses in various fields ranging from governance to economics and beyond. On one fateful day, these seven wind up in a plane accident and wake up only to find themselves in another world.

Finding themselves in a foreign place where magic and beast-people are real, they immediately proceed to panic-or at least that's what would've happened if they were some run of the mill students!!

If anything, these seven are actually using their talents to do absolutely ludicrous things so they can go home...

"Let's take it easy, because if we really let loose, I'm pretty sure we'll end up destroying this world."

Shinsuke Yanagi (And you thought there is never a girl online?, Angel's 3Piece, The Ryuo's Work Is Never Done!) is directing the anime at project No.9, with series scripts supervised by Deko Akao (Noragami, Flying Witch, After the Rain). Akane Yano (And you thought there is never a girl online?, The Ryuo's Work Is Never Done!) is designing the characters and is also the chief animation director. Idol group DIALOGUE+ is performing the opening theme song "Hajimete no Kakumei" (First Revolution), while Akari Kitō is performing the ending theme song "dear my distance."

The anime of Miya Kazuki's "biblia fantasy" novel Ascendance of a Bookworm (Honzuki no Gekokujō - Shisho ni Naru Tame niwa Shudan o Erandeiramasen) will premiere in Japan on WOWOW on October 2. The official website site lists the anime's Blu-ray Disc and DVD releases with 14 episodes.

J-Novel Club is releasing both the light novels and Suzuka's manga adaptation in English, and it describes the story:

A certain college girl who's loved books ever since she was a little girl dies in an accident and is reborn in another world she knows nothing about. She is now Myne, the sickly five-year-old daughter of a poor soldier. To make things worse, the world she's been reborn in has a very low literacy rate and books mostly don't exist. She'd have to pay an enormous amounts of money to buy one. Myne resolves herself: If there aren't any books, she'll just have to make them! Her goal is to become a librarian. This story begins with her quest to make books so she can live surrounded by them! Dive into this biblio-fantasy written for book lovers and bookworms!

Mitsuru Hongo (Kasumin, Crayon Shin-chan films, World Trigger) is directing the anime at Ajia-do (Genshiken, Spirit of Wonder) with assistant director Yoshiki Kawasaki (Monster Hunter Stories RIDE ON episode director), and Mariko Kunisawa (Hatsukoi Limited, Magimoji Rurumo) is in charge of the series scripts. Yoshiaki Yanagida (Genshiken, Spirit of Wonder) and Toshihisa Kaiya (Ruin Explorers - Fam & Ihrie, Spirit of Wonder, World Trigger) are designing the characters. Sumire Morohoshi will perform the show's opening theme song "Mashiro" (Pure White). Morohoshi is making her solo debut with the song. Megumi Nakajima performs the anime's ending song "Kamikazari no Tenshi" (Hair Ornament Angel).
