Devil May Cry 2 Game Heads to Switch on September 19

CAPCOM announced on Wednesday that it will release its Devil May Cry 2 game on the Nintendo Switch on September 19.

The game debuted on the PlayStation 2 in 2003.

CAPCOM released the first Devil May Cry game on the Switch on June 24.

Devil May Cry debuted for PlayStation 2 in 2001. A collection including the game series' first three titles launched for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. CAPCOM then released the Devil May Cry HD Collection set for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in North America in March 2018.

The latest game in the franchise, Devil May Cry 5, launched on March 8 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Hideaki Itsuno returned to direct the game.

The game franchise has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide as of March 31.
