Muse Asia began streaming the Brave Witches spinoff television anime on Thursday. The channel will stream episodes daily at 5:30 p.m. IST.

Alongside India, Muse Asia is streaming the anime in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Muse Asia describes the series:

1930s, "Neuroi" an enemy of humanity suddenly appeared and attacked Europe.
Normal weapons have trouble dealing with Neuroi.
The only ones able to fight against it are called witches, girls with special magical powers.
Brave Witches is a story that happened between Strike Witches Season 1, and Strike Witches Season 2.
In September 1944, due to the achievements made by the Joint Army centered on 501st Joint Fighter Wing, "Strike Witches", the Neuroi nest on Galia Republic airspace was destroyed, and they obtained peace in western Europe.
Seeing this as an opportunity, the Joint Army started to plan seriously for a counter attack in the center and eastern Europe front line.
Orussia Empire built a base in Petersburg,
And was planning to issue an order to the 502nd Joint Fighter Wing, "Brave Witches", for a sortie too.
The Brave Witches are flying across the cold sky of Eastern Europe, while carrying humanity's hope on their back.

The anime is a spinoff to the Strike Witches anime and centers on the 502nd Joint Fighter Wing, unlike the earlier anime's focus on the 501st Joint Fighter Wing. The show premiered in October 2016.

Kazuhiro Takamura returned from Strike Witches to direct the Brave Witches anime. SILVER LINK also returned from Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow to animate the series. Striker Unit is credited with series composition, while Humikane Shimada is credited with the original character designs (which Takamura is adapting for animation). Tsuyoshi Kikuchi and Daijō Kudō planned the project.
