Netflix Adds Dead Mount Death Play, The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting, 4 More Anime in India

Netflix will add the following anime in India on July 15:

  • The television anime adaptation of Ryohgo Narita and Shinta Fujimoto's Dead Mount Death Play manga.
  • The television anime of Tsukiya's The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting (Kumichō Musume to Sewagakari) manga.
  • The television anime of Dojyomaru's How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom (Genjitsushugi Yūsha no Ōkoku Saikenki) light novel series.
  • KONOSUBA - An Explosion on This Wonderful World!, the television anime of writer Natsume Akatsuki and illustrator Kurone Mishima's Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! spinoff novel series.
  • The anime of writer Miku and illustrator Rein Kuwashima's I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World (Isekai de Cheat Skill o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musōsuru) light novel series.
  • The television anime of Kugane Maruyama's Overlord novel series.

Dead Mount Death Play premiered on April 10. The show will air for two cours (quarters of a year), but the two cours will be split. The show's second half will premiere in October. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime in India as it airs in Japan.

Manabu Ono (Sword Art Online: Alicization, Saki, Sakura Wars the Animation) is directing the anime, and is also supervising the series' scripts while penning them alongside Yukie Sugawara (Overlord, The Vampire Dies in No Time) and Yoriko Tomita (My Dress-Up Darling, As Miss Beelzebub likes it.). Takaharu Ōkuma (Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater) is credited as "sub-director," while Yoshiki Kitai is credited as the assistant director. GEEK TOYS is animating the series. Hisashi Abe (Chobits, Gunslinger Girl, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System) is designing the characters. Takayuki Yamaguchi is the sound director. HALF H·P STUDIO is credited for sound production. F.M.F (Yūki Nara, eba, Kana Utatane) is composing the music.

Narita (Baccano!, Durarara!!) and Fujimoto (Red Raven) launched the ongoing manga in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine in October 2017. Yen Press publishes the manga in English as chapters are released in Japan.

Itsuro Kawasaki (Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION, True Cooking Master Boy, Cardfight!! Vanguard) directed the anime at studios feel. and GAINA. Keiichirō Ōchi (Adachi and Shimamura, The Quintessential Quintuplets, Hinamatsuri) oversaw the series scripts, Hiromi Ogata (Katana Maidens: Mini Toji, Magic Kaito 1412) designed the characters, and Takurō Iga (Tsukigakirei, Slow Loop, Magical Girl Raising Project) composed the music. Shō Takeyaki performed the opening theme song "Mirai no Hero Tachi e." VTuber (Virtual YouTuber) Shibuya HAL performed the anime's ending theme song "Kaerimichi no Iro" (The Color of the Road Home).

Tsukiya launched the manga in June 2018 on the Comic Ride Pixiv site, and the series later moved to Comic Elmo. Kaiten Books has licensed the manga.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom premiered in July 2021.

Takashi Watanabe (The Slayers, Ikki Tousen, Freezing) directed the anime at J.C. Staff. Go Zappa (Koihime Musō, Moriarty the Patriot) and Hiroshi Ohnogi (Aquarion, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) penned the scripts. Mai Otsuka (Shakugan no Shana, Urara Meirocho, The Demon Girl Next Door) designed the characters. Akiyuki Tateyama (Laid-Back Camp, ISLAND, Senryū Girl) composed the music, and Jin Aketagawa was the audio director. WOWMAX is credited as producer.

Overlap published the first volume with illustrations by Fuyuyuki in Japan in May 2016. J-Novel Club is releasing the novels digitally, while Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the novels in print. Satoshi Ueda also launched a manga adaptation of the novels on Overlap's Comic Gardo website in July 2017, and J-Novel Club is also publishing the manga digitally.

KONOSUBA - An Explosion on This Wonderful World! premiered on April 5. Ani-One Asia streamed the anime in India as it aired in Japan. The spinoff novels center on Megumin and her Crimson Magic Clan.

The same staff will also work on KonoSuba – God's blessing on this wonderful world! 3, the third television anime season of the main KonoSuba – God's blessing on this wonderful world! anime.

The first main television anime season premiered in January 2016, and the second season premiered in January 2017. The KONOSUBA - God's Blessing on This Wonderful World– Legend of Crimson anime film opened in Japan in August 2019.

Writer Natsume Akatsuki and illustrator Kurone Mishima's KONOSUBA light novel series centers on Kazuma, a shut-in student who dies in a traffic accident, but meets the goddess Aqua after death. He is given the chance to reincarnate in a fantasy world and can keep one thing with him. When he decides to choose Aqua herself, they are both transported to their new lives. The pair go on quests to earn just enough to buy food, shelter, and clothing, and eventually hire the sorceress Megumin and swordswoman Darkness, who they quickly learn are just as useless as they are.

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World premiered on April 6 on Tokyo MX, BS11, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV. The anime streamed in advance in Japan on April 3. Muse Asia streamed the anime in India as it aired in Japan. Crunchyroll added the anime in India on April 25.

UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS planned and produced the anime. Millepensee produced the animation. Shin Itagaki (Teekyū franchise, So I'm a Spider, So What?) was the chief director and also oversaw the series scripts. Shingo Tanabe (episode director for So I'm a Spider, So What?, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean) directed the anime. Hiromi Kimura adapted the characters for animation from Rein Kuwashima's original designs, and also served as chief animation director. Akiyuki Tateyama composed the music. Tsukuyomi performed the opening theme song "Gyakuten Geki" (Turnabout Drama).

The book franchise has 2 million copies in circulation worldwide. Yen Press is releasing the light novels and manga adaptation in English.

The 13-episode Overlord television anime series premiered in Japan in July 2015.

Overlord IV, the anime's fourth season, premiered in July 2022. Ani-One Asia streamed the anime in India as it aired in Japan. Disney+ Hotstar added all four seasons of the anime in India in September.

The returning cast members include Satoshi Hino as Ains Ooal Gown, Yumi Hara as Albedo, Sumire Uesaka as Shalltear Bloodfallen, Emiri Katō as Aura Bella Fiora, Masayuki Katou as Demiurge, and Kenta Miyake as Cocytus.

Naoyuki Itou returned to direct the anime at Madhouse. Yukie Sugawara also returned to write and supervise the scripts. Satoshi Tasaki also returned as character designer.

The second season of the anime premiered in Japan in January 2018. Ani-One Asia streamed it in India in July 2021. The third television anime season premiered in July 2018. Ani-One Asia streamed it in India in December 2021.

Netflix added the Overlord: The Dark Warrior (Overlord: Shikkoku no Senshi) anime film and the Overlord: The Undead King (Overlord: Fushisha no Ō) anime film in India in July 2020.
