Muse India Simulcasts 'Shy,' Berserk of Gluttony, Ragna Crimson Anime

Muse Asia's Facebook page announced on Monday that it will stream the television anime adaptation of Bukimi Miki's SHY manga in India on October 2 at 8:30 p.m. IST. The Muse India YouTube channel began streaming the television anime of Daiki Kobayashi's Ragna Crimson manga and the television anime of Ichika Isshiki and fame's Berserk of Gluttony (Bōshoku no Berserk: Ore Dake Level to Iu Gainen wo Toppa Suru) light novel series on Sunday.

The SHY anime premiered in Japan on Monday.

Muse Asia describes the story:

In the middle of the 21st century, war has disappeared from the earth―― The world has changed greatly thanks to the sudden appearance of peace-seeking "Heroes" with their superpower abilities from across the globe. In this world where heroes from all nations fight to maintain the newly obtained era of peace, the heroine in charge of Japan's peace was none other than an extremely shy heroine, "Shy."

Masaomi Andō (Astra Lost in Space, Scum's Wish, School-Live!) is directing the series at studio 8-Bit (Blue Lock, Encouragement of Climb). Kōsaku Taniguchi is the assistant director, Yasuhiro Nakanishi is writing and overseeing the series scripts, Yūichi Tanaka is the main character designer, and Hinako Tsubakiyama is composing the music. MindaRyn is performing the opening theme song "Shiny Girl."

Miki first published Shy in the Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine as a one-shot manga in January 2017, and then began serializing the manga in the same magazine in August 2019. The manga's 20th compiled book volume shipped in Japan on August 8. Yen Press is releasing the series in English.

Ragna Crimson premiered on Saturday on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11 with a one-hour first episode. The series will have 24 episodes and will air for two cours (quarters of a year).

Ken Takahashi (Butlers x Battlers, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!) is directing the anime at SILVER LINK., and Deco Akao (Amanchu!, Arakawa Under the Bridge, Noragami) is writing and overseeing the series scripts. Shinpei Aoki (key animator for Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya franchise) is designing the characters. Kōji Fujimoto (Sus4 Inc.) and Osamu Sasaki are composing the music. The band ulma sound junction performs the opening theme song "ROAR."

Square Enix Manga & Books is publishing the manga in English, and it describes the story:

Dragon hunters: warriors armed with special silver weapons who kill their prey for bounty. Lowest among their ranks is Ragna, who forms an improbable partnership with the young genius Leonica, a master dragon slayer with more kills to her name than almost any other. All Ragna wants is to stay by Leonica's side, but his dream is shattered by an attack from the deadliest dragon imaginable…

Kobayashi launched the manga in Gangan Joker in March 2017. Square Enix had announced in April 2021 that the manga was nearing its "final battle," and the manga entered its final arc with the 11th volume, which shipped in August 2022.

Berserk of Gluttony began streaming first on the U-NEXT and Anime Hōdai services starting on Sunday, before its television debut. The anime will premiere on television on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS11 on October 4.

Tetsuya Yanagisawa (High School DxD, Orient) is directing the anime at ACGT. Mariko Kunisawa (Ascendance of a Bookworm, Orient) is supervising the series scripts, and Takafumi Furusawa is designing the characters. EverdreaM is performing the opening theme song "Jekyll & HYDE," and is also performing the ending theme song "Ao no Genseki." EverdreaM is comprised of voice actresses Misato Matsuoka and Hitomi Sekine.

Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing both the novel series and its manga adaptation in English, and it describes the story:

Fate Graphite is one of the forsaken. Cursed with the skill “Gluttony,” he is ever starving, never sated…until the day he kills a dying thief and devours the man's strength—and his soul. The true hunger of Fate's Gluttony has awakened, and if he can learn to control his power, he will at last be the master of his own destiny.

After releasing the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō service, Isshiki launched the first novel volume with illustrations by fame in November 2017. Micro Magazine is also releasing the novels in a larger bunko format. Daisuke Takino launched the manga on Micro Magazine's Comic Ride website in April 2018.
