CoMix Wave Films announced on Thursday that the company will be present at the Kodansha by Manga Planet India booth at Delhi Comic Con. Attendees will be able to take a picture with the chair from the Suzume (Suzume no Tojimari) film at the booth's photo experience.

Delhi Comic Con will take place from December 8 to December 10 at NSIC Grounds, Okhla.

The Kodansha Comics by Manga Planet India booth is giving out free copies of the first chapter of Terako Shima's India Calling Me Now (Ima, Indo ni Yobarete) manga at Bengaluru Comic Con and Delhi Comic Con. Shima attended Bengaluru Comic Con from November 17 through November 19. She participated in a live drawing and interview session during Manga Planet India's panel at the event.

CoMix Wave Films launched an Indian Instagram account that is "focused on publishing information relevant to fans living in India."

PVR Inox had hosted a meet and greet with Makoto Shinkai in Mumbai preceding the Suzume film's premiere in India. Shinkai also attended the premiere event itself and participated in a Q&A session with attendees on April 20.

Denki Amashima, the artist of the manga adaptation of the film, spoke in a "Manga Talk Session" at Rachna Sansad College of Applied Art & Craft.
