Kaiju No. 8, Black Butler -Public School Arc-, 6 More Anime Simulcast on Crunchyroll in India

Crunchyroll announced its April simulcast schedule for India on Friday. The service will stream:

At Eden Hall, each glass has a story. A quiet bar lies tucked away in the streets of Tokyo, and it seems only the most desperate souls burdened by their own troubles manage to find its doors. But after a glass of God poured by the brilliant bartender Ryu, they leave renewed. Ryu has a gift—he knows how to soothe the soul with the perfect drink. Who will he meet next?

Ryōichi Kuraya (Tsugumomo, Farming Life in Another World) is directing the anime at the studio Liber (The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague). Mariko Kunisawa (Ascendance of a Bookworm all 3 seasons, The case files of Jeweler Richard) is overseeing the series scripts, and Yōichi Ueda (Gangsta., The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window) is the character designer and chief animation director. SUNTORY is cooperating on the show's production.

A previous 11-episode television anime based on the manga premiered in Japan in October 2006.

Shueisha started serializing the original manga in its Super Jump magazine in 2004, and the manga later moved to Grand Jump. The 21st and final compiled book volume shipped in February 2012.

The manga inspired a live-action television adaptation that debuted in Japan in January 2011.

The anime will premiere on 28 MBS/TBS stations on April 4 at 12:26 a.m. JST (effectively, April 5) in the Super Animeism TURBO block.

Toshifumi Akai (Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia) is directing the anime at CloverWorks. Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen) is handling the series composition. Taishi Kawakami (Akebi's Sailor Uniform) is designing the characters. Ryō Takahashi (Arifureta - From Commonplace to World's Strongest) is composing the music.

Nii launched the manga in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app in Japanese in January 2021. Kodansha published the 16th compiled volume of the manga on March 8.

The manga ranked no. 9 in AnimeJapan's 2022 list of "Manga We Want To See Animated."

Crunchyroll describes A Condition Called Love:
High school freshman Hotaru Hinase has a vibrant life full of family and friendship, but not much luck in romance. That all changes when she makes a warm gesture to her handsome and heartbroken classmate, Hananoi, leading to him asking her out and her becoming flustered. The anime will premiere on April 4 on TBS' 28 affiliate channels at 11:56 p.m. JST. In Japan the series will stream on ABEMA and Netflix.

Tomoe Makino (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, Kotaro Lives Alone) is directing the anime at East Fish Studio. Hitomi Amamiya (Merc Storia: The Apathetic Boy and the Girl in a Bottle, Chillin' in My 30s after Getting Fired from the Demon King's Army) is supervising and writing the series scripts, and Akiko Satō (Trigun Stampede) is designing the characters. yamazo is composing the music. Sexy Zone will perform the anime's opening theme song "Kimi no Sei" (It's Your Fault). Danish-Japanese artist Mina Okabe's "Every Second" (Japanese version) will be the anime's ending theme song.

Morino launched the manga in Kodansha's Monthly Dessert magazine in December 2017. The manga has over 3.8 million copies in circulation. The manga won the Best Shōjo Manga award in Kodansha's 45th Manga Awards in 2021.

The anime will debut on April 7.

Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Ayaka: A Story of Bonds and Wounds, Happy Sugar Life, Smile Down the Runway) is directing the anime at Studio Blanc, Touko Machida (Smile Down the Runway, Fuuka, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations) is writing the scripts, and Naomi Tsuruta (2nd key animation for Pokémon: Paldean Winds) is designing the characters.

Toyama (Missions of Love, Aoba-kun's Confessions) launched the manga in Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine in November 2018. The manga went on hiatus after its "first part" ended in July 2022, and returned and started its "second part" in December 2022. Kodansha published the manga's 12th compiled volume on November 13. Kodansha USA Publishing releases the manga in English, and will release the 11th volume on May 21.

Masakazu Hishida (Fairy Ranmaru, KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm) is directing the anime at Okuru to Noboru. Toshiya Ono (The Promised Neverland, Land of the Lustrous) is overseeing the series scripts, Satomi Miyazaki (Tomodachi Game) is designing the characters, and Yutaka Yamada (Tokyo Ghoul, Vinland Saga) is composing the music. Slow Curve is producing the series.

The webtoon launched in Korean in November 2019. Webtoon began publishing the series in English in October 2020, and has published 207 chapters as of March 5. In Japan the webtoon runs on the LINE Manga app.

Taejun Pak is also the author of Lookism and is the CEO of PTJ Comics.

Shadowverse Flame, the second anime in Cygames, Inc.'s Shadowverse card battle smartphone game franchise, premiered the fifth cours on July 8 with the title Shadowverse Flame: Seven Shadows Arc. The show's 25th episode (the 75th overall episode of Shadowverse Flame) aired on December 23.

The Shadowverse Flame anime premiered on TV Tokyo in April 2022. The anime's fourth cours, titled "World Ranking arc," ended in March 2023 with the anime's overall 50th episode.

The Shadowverse anime features a completely original story, and features anime-only characters. The first season centers on Hiiro Ryūgasaki, a student at Tensei Academy. Through a strange incident, Hiiro obtains a mysterious smartphone. The smartphone has installed the popular digital card game "Shadowverse." Through the game Hiiro meets rivals, participates in tournaments, and forms bonds with others.

The second season depicts the coming of age of the protagonist Light Tenryū and his friends via the Shadowverse.

In a world plagued by creatures known as Kaiju, Kafka Hibino aspired to enlist in The Defense Force. He makes a promise to enlist with his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro. Soon, life takes them in separate ways. While employed cleaning up after Kaiju battles, Kafka meets Reno Ichikawa. Reno's determination to join The Defense Force reawakens Kafka's promise to join Mina and protect humanity.

The anime will premiere on TV Tokyo on April 13. The anime will also stream on X/Twitter worldwide in real time as it airs on TV in Japan, at the exact time the anime airs.

Shigeyuki Miya (Onihei) is directing the anime. Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion) is handling the series composition and screenplay. Tetsuya Nishio (Naruto) is the character designer and chief animation director. Mahiro Maeda (Shin Godzilla) is designing the monsters. Shinji Kimura (Tekkonkinkreet) is the art director. Yuta Bando (BELLE) is composing the music.

Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell) is handling animation production, and Studio Khara (Rebuild of Evangelion) is in charge of kaiju designs and artworks.

Matsumoto launched the manga in July 2020 on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website. The first print volume shipped in December 2020, and the volume has since had several more printings due to demand. Shueisha published the manga's 11th compiled book volume on December 4.

Viz Media licensed the manga. The company releases chapters digitally and physically. Shueisha publishes the manga on its MANGA Plus service under the title Monster #8. In September 2021, the manga surpassed 4 million copies in circulation, making it the fastest Shonen Jump+ manga (as opposed to manga running in Shueisha's print magazines) to reach the milestone.

The series will premiere in Japan on April 13.

Daisuke Ono and Maaya Sakamoto are reprising their respective roles as the butler and demon Sebastian Michaelis and British noble Ciel Phantomhive.

Kenjirō Okada (March comes in like a lion, RWBY: Ice Queendom) is directing the anime at CloverWorks. Hiroyuki Yoshino, who has written and/or supervised scripts for previous Black Butler anime, is in charge of series composition for the new anime. Yumi Shimizu, who was an episode animation director and key animator in the 2008 Black Butler anime, is the character designer. Ryo Kawasaki (Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia, To Your Eternity, Romantic Killer) is composing the music.

The Black Butler anime adapts Yana Toboso's manga of the same name. The series premiered in Japan in 2008, and Black Butler II followed in 2010. Black Butler: Book of Circus premiered in 2014.
