Power Morphicon Announces First Super Sentai Guest, Black Condor from Chojin Sentai Jetman to Attend

Pasadena, CA - Power Morphicon, the world's largest Power Rangers convention, is proud to announce its first Super Sentai guest for their seventh show in 2022. Super Sentai and Henshin actor, Toshihide Wakamatsu, will be making the trip from Japan to Pasadena, California in August.

The three-day event will be held on August 26th - 27th, 2022, at the Pasadena Convention Center.

Toshihide Wakamatsu, best known for his role as Gai Yuki, Black Condor, from Chojin Sentai Jetman, will be making his first appearance outside of Japan, to attend Power Morphicon.

Chojin Sentai Jetman is the fifteenth season of the Super Sentai series produced by Toei Company and Bandai of Japan. The series aired from February 1991 to February 1992.

Shout! Factory released Chojin Sentai Jetman in North America on DVD in 2018.

Power Morphicon is a three-day event held every two years that celebrates Power Rangers and related series such as VR Troopers, Beetleborgs, Kamen Rider, Superhuman Syber Squad and Super Sentai. The three-day event brings in over 10,000 attendees from all over the world to participate in cosplay, Q&A panels with guests, prop/FX workshops, martial arts classes/demos, and optional events such as breakfast with some of the guests.
