They were releasing these UY seiyu announcements in such a manner that I am starting to believe they will eventually make similar adaptations for other old Rumiko Takahashi's works.

I think we're in an age where everything is possible. So many new seasons of anime, remakes of anime or adaptations of old manga are announced, we can now expect an announcement for anything. Personally, I am waiting for new adaptations of Ranma, Claymore and Soul Eater. And maybe new iterations of Hokuto no Ken and Rave Master. |

I'm expecting a MAO adaptation after UY finishes, but that'll be over a year in the future since it's gonna be two seasons of 23 eps

If i had to pick a title that would like to see a remake it would probably be Ranma 1/2 its weird cause as far as i can tell, it is the only series that had anime adaptation that never adapted to the end of the original manga series despite having so many seasons, ovas and movies.

So I was wondering what characters are left, and how many more big names they could possibly reveal, and I had a thought…
"I wonder if Megumi Hayashibara could pull off Ryuunosuke?" It'd be a punchline 33 years in the making. |

Rinne didn't have it's last 50 or so chapters adapted, but afaik it's also much less popular than her other works |

Still unannounced that I can think of is Lum's parents, Ataru's parents, Ryuunosuke and her father, Mr Onsen-Mark, and Mendou's sister Ryoko. I'm also curious to see if their going to use Kosuke Shirai who was replaced by Lum's Stormtroopers in the original anime adaptation of the seies. Although both did exist in the manga, Lum's Stormtroopers (Megane, Chibi, Perm, and Kakugari) stopped appearing early on. |
