100% Pascal-sensei School Comedy Manga Gets Anime
posted on by Egan Loo
The October issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Coro Coro Comic magazine announced on Thursday that an anime adaptation of Yūji Nagai's gag comedy manga 100% Pasukaru Sensei (100% Pascal-sensei) has been green-lit. The anime will premiere on the Coro Coro Channel online on October 15 at 8:00 p.m. It is also getting its own regular segment during the long-running children's television program Oha-Suta.
The story centers around an elementary school teacher who is so stupid, he cannot even write his own name. He does whatever he likes in his classroom. Plus, by all appearances, he is not human.
Nagai launched the manga in 2015, and Shogakukan published the third volume in June. A Penguin's Troubles, an earlier manga that Nagai published in Monthly Coro Coro Comic, inspired a 2008 television anime and a 2009 anime movie.
