Steps like this are just what the industry needs. If companies keep following these examples, you-know-what may start to wane significantly.

As much as I wish people would do this in the US, 1) I'm not big on dubs and 2) those poor poor Singaporeans deserve it more then we do. Seriously, I'll take Funimation jackassery over Odex any day.

So, wait, it's going to be dubbed? Like with Kurokami, but faster?

Ooo... Nice. I subscribe to Animax Asia. Looking forward to watching it simultaneously as those in Japan.

Probably. Animax Asia would occasionally broadcast only with the Japanese track if that's what it only has.

That must mean that they were doing both dubs at the same time.
I hope CR picks it up because I want to see this.

What's with the dramatic response? Almost every R1 licensing company for anime has done something stupid.

I'm glad to see Japan taking another step in putting more content out there to members of other countries. Maybe America will get in on some of this eventually.

So broadcasting, download-to-own, and free online viewing isn't good enough for some people. Jeez!

And we did have it once, Big O season 2 aired pretty much at the same time as the Japanese audience, partially becuase we paid for it.

I'm noticing some names involved (Sony stands out the most) perhaps a test to see how well this goes, also noticed it is a fantasy series, one that's not to big....

Not when you can't get it. i.e. everyone outside of the US.

Oooh... I had no idea it was a Leaf/Aquaplus game adaptation. I really enjoy those (Comic Party, Utawarerumono, To Heart, and now with White Album), so I'll certainly be watching this.

Great to see simulcasts now being realized.

Personally, I hope we don't see quite so many "exact time" simulcasts in North America, because when a late-night otaku anime airs at 2:00 AM in Japan, it kind of sucks to miss it due to college classes at 2:00 PM here in Boston.
